White Horse Stone is a premier stone fabrication company based in Johnstown, Colorado, specializing in custom granite, marble, quartz, and other premium countertop materials. Founded in September 2020 by Jason and Lance White Horse, the company stands out as one of the first and only Indigenous-led businesses in its industry.
Unlike typical countertop providers, White Horse Stone handles every aspect of the process in-house—from selection and fabrication to expert installation—ensuring unparalleled quality and attention to detail. Our Project Implementation Process
Our Project Implementation Process ensures seamless execution, from concept to completion, with attention to detail, quality, and client satisfaction at every step.
Gather client requirements, assess space, and define design goals. Identify style preferences, functionality, and key design elements for the project. Receive on on-site estimate for fabrication and discuss material options.
Visit our partnered Slab Distributors (click here to view) and select the perfect material for you and your project.
Have a small project that doesn't require a full slab? Book an appointment for a Remanent Selection and swing on by to find the stone that fits just right.
As soon as your material is selected, we get to work fabricating and polishing your project.
At White Horse Stone everything is kept in house, meaning we do not farm out our installers to subcontractors. We are with you on your project every step of the way!
Our team will tear out an existing countertops, dispose them, and install your new countertops. 99% of jobs are completed from start to finish in a single day.
At White Horse Stone we use the highest quality sealants available, ensuring decades of beauty and functionality. When the job is all done, the only thing left to do is enjoy your new countertops each time you enter the room!

Meet Our company founders
Jason White HOrse
Jason White Horse brings over 30 years of experience to the granite and natural stone countertop industry. What began as a practical way to provide food and diapers for his son quickly evolved into a true passion for stone work. As he moved around the Midwest, Jason worked for some of the largest companies in the field, swiftly advancing to management roles. His ultimate dream was to leverage all that accumulated knowledge and launch his own company.
Taking a leap of faith—or as Jason puts it, "betting on yourself"—he and his son devised a plan to start their own stone countertop business. What started as casual conversations to pass the time during their daily commutes soon turned into a reality.
In his spare time, Jason enjoys being with his three grandchildren and cheering on the Broncos. He's a lifelong practitioner of boxing and a dedicated fan of the TV series 'The Walking Dead.' These days, he's fully committed to fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and loves to travel. He is also an avid lover of monte cristo cigars.
Lance White Horse
Lance White Horse has been working in the stone industry alongside his father since his early teens. His dad would bring home scrap pieces, which Lance used to create stone cutting boards. In the mornings, he'd fabricate them in the family garage, and then he'd head out in the afternoons to sell them door to door.
When he was just 15, Lance landed his first full-time job at a granite fabrication company in Denver. He quickly excelled in every area of stone fabrication and installation, mastering each step of the process along the way. Now, at the age of 30, Lance has been fabricating and installing stone countertops for over half his life.
Lance is married to his wife, Ellen, and together they have three beautiful children. Outside of work, his passions include ancient civilizations and their symbolism, with a special focus on traditional Lakota culture and heritage. He writes articles and travels throughout the midwest to give lectures on the topic.
